Building capability in the SA Public Sector

More than 2,600 apprentices, trainees, graduates and existing employees will commence a vocational qualification within the South Australian Public Sector.

The Office of the Commissioner for Public Sector Employment will work alongside a panel of Group Training Organisations to drive this new government training and employment program, which aims to:

  • equip participants with the skills and workplace experience required to advance their careers

  • increase diversity of the public sector workforce.

The project will also build capability in some of the state’s key growth areas, including allied health, child protection, education support, horticulture and IT/cyber security.
