Microsoft Australia, in partnership with the State Government, will deliver a traineeship program to help create a pipeline of IT talent, and kickstart careers in the technology industry.
After launching in NSW in late-2018, the program has expanded to South Australia and will help:
build workforce capability in information technology and cloud computing
increase IT traineeships in the state.
The program will provide about 40 people with two-year traineeships that combine on-the-job paid work experience with a Certificate IV in Information Technology and a Microsoft Azure Certification delivered through TAFE SA.
Participants will be employed by MEGT’s Group Training Program and hosted by businesses in the Microsoft Partner Network, across metropolitan and regional areas, who will provide on-the-job training and development.
