TTN Driver Operations Project

The Logging Investigation and Training Association (LITA Training) has launched an apprenticeship program that will introduce five new employees to a forestry career in the state’s South East.

Mount Gambier-based training provider LITA Training has over 40 years’ experience equipping the local workforce with a range of forestry skills, and this new project will see five people establish careers in harvest and haulage.

Participants will undertake a Certificate III in Driving Operations and Heavy Combination truck training with a host employer, local contractor Tabeel Trading Nominees (TTN), allowing them to operate semi-trailers and learn on the job.

Participating apprentices are guaranteed work through Group Training Employment throughout their two years of study. Upon achieving their qualification, each will be offered ongoing employment with Tabeel Trading Nominees.
